The 42nd Annual Rockaway Beach Kite and Art Festival is less than a year away.

Every year Rockaway Beach Oregon welcomes visitors from far and wide to experience an Oregon Kite Festival at it's best on their wide, sandy seven mile beach. Visitors to our own oceanfront Manzanita Oregon rentals enjoy making the short 11 drive to participate in the fun. It's one of our favourite Rockaway Beach events of the year!

The Annual Rockaway Beach Kite and Art Festival is sponsored by the American Kite fliers Association and attracts a range a kite fliers from professional down to the very beginning flier. This Oregon Kite Festival 2019 is scheduled for August 16 - 18, 2019

Competitive events for this fun kite flying festival run the range of nicest kite and fun kite that drags on the ground the longest before becoming airborne. Kids have tons of fun with classes showing how to build your kite to best flying methods.

This northern Oregon Kite Festival is the perfect way to spend a weekend for the whole family. Who doesn't love kite filled blue skies over the sparkling Pacific?
