While my father settled on Manzanita Beach for his dream Oregon Coast beach house - later to become our first Manzanita Rental, our Oceanfront Cottage - we know nearby Rockaway Beach has lots of fans.
There's a different flavour, almost the Coney Island of yesteryear, with such fun annual events as the Rockaway Beach Kite Festival, Rockaway Beach Pirate Festival, and the Rockaway Beach Firecracker Weiner Nationals!
