Go Crabbing near Manzanita Beach and the North Oregon coast when you visit the coastal areas of Oregon in November. The general rule of thumb if you wanna go crabbing is do it in a month with an ‘r’ such as November, January, February, March, etc. According to the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, the timing your crabbing trip in the fall is more important to success than figuring out which location is best. They claim late September through November is usually the very best, with more good crabbing available late summer to early winter.
