If you actually want to sit down and enjoy delicious, fresh fast Mexican food, Left Coast Siesta in Manzanita Oregon is by far the best place to go. Not only is their food delicious, it’s healthy plus it won’t blow your wallet.

This amazingly good Manzanita restaurant is located in a charming local northern coast town on Manzanita Beach.

Left Coast Siesta is by far one of most favourite of our Manzanita restaurants, if not the best Mexican Oregon Coast restaurant. Here are just some of the reasons Left Coast Siesta in Manzanita is better than America’s top rated Mexican food:

1. Tacos

First up, is Left Coast Siesta's awesome tacos. They come in both soft and hard shell. I personally prefer the hard sell, but the soft is always good as well. These delicious tacos come with your choice of meat, rice or beans, and all the fillings you want. For meat, I highly recommend the tequila lime chicken. It is loved by everyone who’s ever tried it. If you like something a little more spicy I’d go for spicy beef. The spice isn’t too strong, but it also ticks a slight punch. No matter what kind of taco you choose, you’ll for sure love these tacos.

2. Enchilada

Next up, is Left Coast Siesta perfect sized enchiladas. You won’t think about any other food when eating this Manzanita favourite. They’re just the right size if you’re hungry, but don’t want a burrito gut after a meal.

They come with your choice of green sauce (pictured above) or red sauce. Either one is a great choice. Both sauces aren’t overly spicy, so if you’re not a fan of a ton of spice you can still have these delicious enchiladas.

3. Wet Burrito

Following the amazing enchilada, is the famous wet burrito. This burrito is like no other. Manzanita Oregon is a lucky town for hosting this beauty. I have to admit that this is hands down my all time favourite burrito.

Left Coast Siesta isn’t stingy with their sauce on their burrito, like some other places. They perfectly pair enough sauce and burrito, so that every bite is mouth watering.

Manzanita Beach Life Insider's Tip: My secret wet burrito order at Left Coast Siesta is as follows: Tequila lime chicken, black beans, all the toppings including sunflower seeds - for that crunch and flavour - medium salsa, and Left Coast Siesta famous guacamole. Delicious!

4. Taco Salad

Next up, is a salad lovers kind of dish, the refreshing taco salad. This perfect pairing of flavor allows for all the goodness, but contained safely in a taco shell bowl. You even don’t have to eat the taco shell if you’re watching the carbs.

I know many people who enjoy this Manzanita classic, because you’re able to fully take in all the flavour goodness. One thing Left Coast Siesta is known for around Manzanita is their fresh ingredients that you can truly taste with every bite. Try having a little sour cream put on top, for a cool refreshing taste addition.

5. The Quesadilla

Alright, up next is the perfect item for the kiddos out there, or even the person who just truly enjoys a good old fashion quesadilla (like myself). This Manzanita restaurant's perfect ratio of cheese to tortilla is always a hit. I remember coming to Left Coast Siesta as a child and loving their quesadilla.

There’s no other way to describe this quesadilla than pure cheesy perfection. And, what’s nice is that it doesn’t cost you a lot. Now a days you’ll order a quesadilla from a restaurant and wonder why you’re spending $10 on some cheese and a tortilla. This quesadilla will only set you back $1.75. Can’t beat that great deal!

6. Chips and Salsa and Guacamole

Last up, but certainly not least is everyone’s favourite starter or side dish: Left Coast Siesta's famous chips, salsa, and guacamole. This crazy good dish is so simple, yet this restaurant has somehow mastered every part.

The chips are perfectly salty and fresh, the salsa is always made fresh, and their guacamole is to die for! If you try anything at Left Coast Siesta, PLEASE PLEASE try their guacamole! It has truly changed the way I think about fast Mexican food. This dish is perfect for sharing with family or just hanging out on the beach with a bag of chips, salsa, and guac.

We have friends who drive down from Portland as an excuse to stop by for a trip to Left Coast Siesta. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
